A yellow billed cuckoo was banded at the Hilliardton marsh today. Quite a
bit north of its range surprised this is not an obrc bird nonetheless we
were quire excited. There is a huge number of eastern white crowned sparrows
and have been delighted by a recent appearance of 6 boreal chickadees which
we were able to band. Boreal birding at its best at the Hilliardton marsh a
mere 6 hours north of Toronto just outside of NewLiskeard Ontario
