Visitors: 12 local people who came to appreciate our work
Weather: TUV=2, but falling BP and very light wind (W): 3 to 11C;
cloud-covered,
ending in a rainfall in the last hour.
Non-raptor Observations: SHORT-EARED OWL, n.shrike, belted kingfisher, b-b
plovers, 2 horned grebe, 2 rusty blackbirds, Wilson's snipe, hairy
woodpecker, 2 CACKLING GEESE, fox sparrow, many robins along with 6
sparrows, house finch, goldfinch, pipits, -------
Raptor Observations: until 11am there were few migrants for the very many
visitors; then,
between 11 and 1pm we were challenged to identify distant raptors--3GE and a
distant Unidentified eagle, 57RT, 2 RL, 1 RS, along with an unidentified
eagle.
