Weather:
Today saw mostly sunny conditions early with a mix of sun and cloud seen
during the late morning and afternoon as a strong cold front continued to
push bands of heavy cloud cover into the area. Winds were strong and gusty
from the west-southwest.
Raptor Observations:
Non-raptor Observations:
Large numbers of Bonaparte's Gulls continued to migrate out of the north
today along with lesser numbers of Ring-billed Gulls. A couple of Great
Black-backed Gulls were also noted. A single white morph Snow Goose was
among a small group of migrant Tundra Swans. A total of 22 Black-crowned
Night Herons were seen migrating along with 10 Great Egrets and about 15
Great Blue Herons.
