Hi Ontbirders
The Gray Catbird at my parent's feeder at Constance Bay is still doing well,
surviving
-22c on Dec. 13/14th and a snow storm today. Its feeding on bite size pieces
of suet and spending time between visits in the cedar hedge and wood shed.
There was another Gray Catbird observed today on the Ottawa-Gatineau CBC. As
mentioned earlier by Chris Lewis the Ottawa-Gatineau compilation was
cancelled due to weather. This is the first time, in 37 years of
participating and over 100 counts, that a compilation had to be cancelled.
It was definitely a tough morning but fun!

Directions: From Ottawa travel west bound on Hwy. 417 to the March
Rd./Eagleson Road and exit right onto March Rd. Follow to Dunrobin Road and
turn right continuing northwest through Woodlawn. At the hill turn right
onto Constance Bay Rd following it for approx. 1.5 km. Turn left on Allbirch
Road and drive 1.3 km to the " T " intersection. Turn left on Bishop Davis
Drive and then right on Bayview Drive. Follow Bayview Drive to Spinnaker
Way, turn right and then first right on Goodin St. They are at 114 Goodin.
The feeder can be viewed from the road. If you require additional
