On Monday February 4th at around 5pm a Northern Shrike was spotted in Peterborough on the Northern edge of the Trent University campus. The bird was located on the western side of the river at the entrance to the hiking trails north of the parking lot and at the end of Woodland Dr / West Bank rd. From downtown Peterborough, take Water St. North to the outskirts of town and past the front entrance of Trent U. Once you reach Woodland Dr/ West Bank rd, go east until you reach the end of the road where the parking lot begins.
