I dropped in on this location yesterday (March 31st). I parked in a very small parking lot to the west of the condo exiting off of Lawrence Ave and directly facing the flowering crab trees. It was a quiet time of the day (2:30 pm), and I am always respectful and discreet when entering private property.
Initially there were just a few birds - clearly they had been disturbed by someone shortly before I arrived. My car acted as a blind, and gradually, there were at least a dozen robins feeding, with a mourning dove also sitting in the tree and cardinals and red-winged blackbirds singing in the area. After about 5 minutes, a flock of about 30 - 35 waxwings flew in together, with a few Bohemian waxwings. They were disturbed after 5 minutes of viewing and all birds except one apparently very hungry cedar waxwing flew off.
