On Sep.2, at 10:45EST, Paul McGee and Charles Smith witnessed CMRW's first fall 
BALD EAGLE--an immature flew in to roost for a short while in the se corner 
"cormorant tree".

Weather; Sunny,   Bar.pr.falling;  TUV=2; temp. 26C; very light SE wind
Raptors moving westward were very few, but they appeared and flew through 
rapidly--this included one Merlin which circled around our perched owl several 
times before continuing on. Total of migrating raptors-8------ 1 OSPREY, 4 
SHARP-SHINNED, 2 MERLIN, 1 PEREGRINE FALCON

Non-raptor Observations: 10 r-t Hummingbirds, Baltimore oriole, great crested 
flycatcher, warblers-C.yellowthroat, yellow, Yellow-rrumped, 
Magnolia,.Wilson's; GREEN HERON, BLACK DUCK, GADWALL, northern flicker, swamp 
sparrow, wood duck, many barn swallows, etc.

 Also-- 12 Monarchs ; Black Saddlebags, Canada Darners, Green Darners 

>From the 401 eastbound, exit at Salem Rd. in Ajax, south to Bayly, the east 
>through Lakeridge Rd. to the first street beyond-Hall's Rd.--south toward the 
>lake to the second roadside parking area. From the 401 westbound--exit at 
>Brock St. in Whitby, south to Victoria St., west right through to Hall's Rd.
