----------------------------------------------------------------------

Observation start time: 11:00:00
Observation end time: 15:30:00
Total observation time: 4.5 hours

Official Counter: Calvin Brennan

Observers: Charlene Brennan, Don Sherwood, Paul Cypher, Rodney Laura

Visitors:
Ron and Gloria Harkness

Weather:
With rain passing through the area during the morning hours, coverage of
the count did not begin until midday. Mostly overcast skies persisted but
with extended sunny periods allowing for a bit of hawk movment. Winds were
light to moderate out of the west.

Raptor Observations:
Another small movement was noted, but not surprising given that conditions
were still largely unsettled during the afternoon. No real surprises in the
flight although the largest single grouping of TVs of the fall was seen
numbering about a dozen or so birds.

Non-raptor Observations:
Per usual, the spruce tree at the watch site (the only conifer in the
immediate vicinity) again attracted several Cape May Warblers today. This
annual event is always satisfying as the birds are much easier to spot than
in the nearby maples.
