Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Cindy Isenhoff

Observers: Jim McCoy

Visitors:
Visitors were scare today due mostly to weather conditions. We had a few
from the windsor area, and one group for the Toronto area.

Weather:
A miserable day to begin with steady rain until 9:30am. The rain then
turned to drizzle, and the finally ceased about 10:15am. Mainly overcast
until noon. Temps were from 16.5 C to 21.2 C in the late afternoon. After
the noon hour the skies were at least partly sunny. Winds were mainly off
the lake when there were any.

Raptor Observations:
Very few raptors of any type today. Our highlight was the 4 immature Bald
Eagles that were all in the air at once.

Non-raptor Observations:
Once the rain stopped we saw some songbird activity. The following were
all spotted in the area of the tower between 8:45am and 11:30am: Tree and
Barn Swallows, 2 Eastern Phobes, 2 Ruby Throated Humming Birds, a pair of
Downy Woodpeckers, 6-10 Cedar Wax Wings, numberous American Gold Finch,
Northern Cardinals, 2 Yellow Warblers, 1 Nashville Warbler, 1 Black
Throated Gray Warbler, & Belted King Fisher.
