The migration of juvenile American Golden Plovers continues at Reesor Pond, with 8 today, 10 on Friday, 3 Thurs + one non-breeding adult Black-bellied Plover also showing these last three days - it is great having a chance to distinguish the calls of these two plovers - 2 Ruddy Ducks showed today - 1 Little Green Heron and the usual GBHs, Great egrets and DC Cormorants show daily - a White-throated Sparrow showed up yesterday - the Pond lies just north of Hwy 407 on Reesor road in Markham _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
