Jerry Pelletier and Richard spent most of the day. We saw Evelyn Fisher and Georgia Reid for several hours each, and a few others came and went Weather: Clear sunny skies this morning. Quite a heavy frost overnight, cool temps this morning, warming nicely by afternoon. Light northerly winds the first couple of hours changed to southerly by 10am. A beautiful fall day for the people. Raptor Observations: A very slow hawk day. Non-raptor Observations: Quite an interesting mix of passerines today. The marsh was full of Red Winged Blackbirds this morning...calling from all directions. Most of these cleared out by 10am. Blue Jays were on the move with 5215 tallied. American Goldfinch moved thru in groups of 10 to 15, total of 120.
