Hi all, A Le Conte's Sparrow was found a Trent University this morning at 9am (and relocated at 11:20am in the same area). The bird perched for several minutes in a small buckthorn, allowing excellent views.
Take Highway 401 east to Highway 35/115. Follow Highway 115 north and exit at "Peterborough - The Parkway". Follow The Parkway until it ends at Clonsilla Avenue. Turn right (east) on Clonsilla, and continue to Water Street (Clonsilla becomes Charlotte Street). Turn left (north) on Water Street and watch for the Trent University sign (6km). Turn right on Nassau Mills Road and follow signs to Gzowski College. From the main parking lot there, walk SE (south of the cedars) into a small open old field (just NE of the archeaology house).
