While not noteworthy for the south a gathering of redtails  has us in a spin
in our area. We have never seen the number of redtails in our area ever  16
where seen in a 5 minute drive near the Hilliardton marsh last weekend.
Perhaps this is due to what we think is a fair rodent population. This is
purely anecdotal based on the number of people complaining of the need to
set mouse traps in their homes in our area. I only note this is contrast to
earlier reports of a rodent crash in the north as part of the finch
forecast. So for now we will enjoy the redtails that we normally see very
sporadically in our area.
