There are a few migrants on and around Lake Victoria in the centre of
Stratford. Today Harald Scholz found a Horned Grebe. Yesterday there was an
American Widgeon, a Wood Duck, and a pair of Hooded Mergansers. Around the
lake there are good numbers of Ruby-crowned and Golden-crowned Kinglets along
with a few Yellow-rumped Warblers. Large numbers of Cedar Waxwings and robins
are feeding on the various berry bushes.

Lake Victoria can be reached from Ontario Street (Hwy 7/8 in Stratford) by
travelling north on Waterloo Street and turning east at Lakeside Drive. Plenty
of parking is available on Lakeside Drive.
