There were 2 Barrow's Goldeneye (males) at 2:30-3:00 in the Rideau River, near 
the417 bridge (downtown Ottawa).  One was about level with the parking lot at 
the south endof North River Rd. (or a couple of hundred yards north of the 417 
bridge).  The other was about twenty yards south of the footbridge there.
 
Also 3 Wild Turkey east of the footbridge, a hundred yards or so down the

Directions (from NeilyWorld): From Highway 417 (The Queensway) take exit 
117(Vanier Parkway). Go northwest 1.2 km to Donald Street and turn left or 
westonto it. Proceed 0.5 km to North River Road.  Turn left again on North 
RiverRoad and park at the south end of Riverain Park.  Walk to the nearby river 
and on 
south under the 417 to get to the 
footbridge._______________________________________________
