Hi

Birded Short Hills Privincial Park outside St Catharines this
morning, weather overcast windy and occational rain, found a Northern Shrike
along one of the trails same area that I found a pair of Purple Finch yesterday
a bit late for that post I guess, took a couple of decent photos of Finches if
you would like to view drop me an email.
Directions enter park off Pelham Rd. Entrance is between DeCew Rd and
Effingham Rd
Fom parking lot walk down hill with vinyard on your right trail begins on same
side rising uphill
Follow trail for about 10 min until you reach wooded area which is on leftside.
On rightside is a open scrub like area of about a couple of hundred acres.
Shrike was observed in this area
                                                Merry Xmas and good birding
