Greetings!

There is a Northern Hawk Owl W of Buckhorn at Flynn's Corners. Observed at
10:30am and again on the return trip at 1:30pm. Also saw an adult Bald Eagle
hunting in the open water below the dam in Buckhorn.

Directions: From Buckhorn, travel W on Hwy 36 to Flynns Corners, where Hwy 507
turns north toward Gooderham/Haliburton. The owl was about 100m N of Hwy 36 on
Hwy 507. First observed in a tall roadside maple on the E side of the road.
Later seen again on the W side of the road further out in a field, again
perched up high in a tree.

Cheers,
