Greetings!

A beautiful sunset today. Many Cardinals, Mourning Doves, Juncos, and
Chickadees.

What a surprise by the feeders at the top of a pine tree was a Northern
Shrike basking in the sunlight. Also present were a couple of small flocks
of White winged crossbills. Male and female purple finches were also singing
in the pines.

Good birding.

Cheers,

Bernie Monette

The College itself is east of the 427 and Finch. Head east on Finch, turn
right at Humber College Blvd and entrance is the last entrance before
highway 27.

Humber College Arboretum is behind Humber College: enter through entrance A
and go past the residence on the left. Parking is free after 3 and on
weekends. Be careful driving on this road as students and children cross at
any old place.
