Hello, An adult Golden Eagle (escorted by a local Raven) passed low about 40 feet and caught a thermal right over our house here in Merrickville at 12: 40 p.m. this afternoon. It lingered for a minute before moving on. Brenda managed to get outside in time to have binocular filling views. "Yard" birds can hardly get any better than that!
