This morning at 7:30am observed what i believe to be a Clay-colored Sparrow off
Niska Rd. in Guelph (Google Maps identifies this dead end street as Sdrd 10).

This is a life bird for me, so i will hold off from confirming the ID until i
can get some others to take a look at the photos. The bird was singing
incessently from the tops of spruce trees immediately beside the parking area.

I have compared myself against my field guide and reference shots on the net -
so i am fairly confident in the ID. I can share photos later when i have had a
chance to process them.

Other birds seen were: Eastern Meadowlark, Eastern Phoebe, Eastern Kingbird,
Nashville Warbler, Yellow Warbler, Savannah Sparrow, House Finch, Cardinal,
Goldfinch, Blue Jays, Canada Geese, Song Sparrow.
