A male Dickcissel made a brief stop in a tree above the south platform at
Cranberry Marsh about 9:30 this morning. It continued its flight west and
was not relocated.
A juvenile Ross's Goose was discovered in Lynde Creek. To reach the spot
where it was seen late this morning, take the gravel path south from the
Lynde Shores Cons. Area parking lot that parallels Lynde Ck. and is east of
the private road. Where the trail jogs sharply right (west) to join the
road, continue south and follow a faint trail through the woods along the
west bank of Lynde Ck. for about 200m. Look east, the goose was among many,
many Canada Geese.

Good luck!
