Sunny skies and very light NE wind = very few migrating raptors. Indeed many
of the few that we did see were trying to ride the thermals.

Weather--light NE wind, rising BP, light thermals, 10C.

Among non-raptors were at least 8000 Canada Geese flying en masse from the
north down to either the lakefront or Lynde Marsh. Among them was 1 SNOW
GOOSE and 13 CACKLING GEESE.
OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 34 NON-RAPTORS WERE--- Northern Shoveler,
Wilson's Snipe, VIRGINIA RAIL, NORTHERN SHRIKE.
