Highlights of reports received November 19 through November 25 from the Niagara Frontier Region include LONG-B. DOWITCHER and Niagara River gulls.

November 24 and 25, 2 LONG-B. DOWITCHERS with KILLDEER on the lakeshore at Darien Lakes State Park, at Route 20
 and Harlow Road in Genesee County.

The BOS and Rochester Birding Association field trip to the Niagara River on November 21 reported LITTLE GULLS at Fort Niagara State Park and at Lewiston. At the power plant overlook in Ontario, THAYER'S GULL, ICELAND GULL, L. BLACK- B. GULL and the GLAUCOUS X HERRING GULL hybrid know as NELSON'S GULL. And at Niagara Falls, ICELAND GULL and several L. BLACK-B. GULLS. Though not seen on the field trip, BLACK-HEADED GULL and CALIFORNIA GULL continue to be found at the power plants.

Also on the trip, at Fort Niagara, RED-THROATED LOON, COMMON LOON, WHITE-WINGED SCOTER, LONG-TAILED DUCK, BUFFLEHEAD, COMMON GOLDENEYE and RED-BR. MERGANSER.

November 24 at Dunkirk Harbor, 4 BLACK SCOTERS with 2 COMMON LOONS, 14 HORNED GREBES, and numbers of GREATER SCAUP, BUFFLEHEAD, COMMON GOLDENEYE, HOODED MERGANSER, RED-BR. MERGANSER and BONAPARTE'S GULL.

Also this week - 27 RING-NECKED DUCKS arriving at the Silver Creek upper reservoir in The Town of Hanover. At the Lippert Gravel Pits, in the Cattaraugus County Town of Allegany, 3 COMMON LOONS, HORNED GREBE, 4 RING-NECKED DUCKS, 11 BUFFLEHEAD and 2 COMMON MERGANSERS. At Lake Road and 12 Mile Creek in Wilson, 7 MUTE SWANS. And 50 SWANS, most likely TUNDRA SWANS at Beaver Island State Park on Grand Island.
