Monday, Nov.30/09 was the last day of official counting of migrating raptors
at the
Cranberry Marsh Raptor Watch. I WAS SO HAPPY TO HAVE 12 PEOPLE
WITH ME. MANY THANKS TO ALL 110 WHO HELPED OVER THE 97 DAYS.
Today, Nov.30---strong NWwinds, rising BP, sunny sky, no thermals, 3C
brought 21 migrating raptors--17 Red-taileds, 1 N.Harrier, 1 Cooper's hawk,
1 RED-SHOULDERED and 1 ROUGH-LEGGED.

----NON-RAPTORS-- 2 SANDHILL CRANES, SWAMP SPARROW,
MARSH WREN, 7 HOODED MERGANSERS, PINE SISKINS, SONG SPARROW,
WHITE-THROATED SPARROW.
