I went to follow up on a tip I received from my friend Stephen Derraugh. At approx. 10:30am there was a BARRED OWL on the Hare Trail at Baxter Conservation Area in Kars. Otherwise there was nothing unusual around, just the common winter birds. Pat DIRECTIONS: Baxter Conservation Area is located off of the 416 at exit 42. Head east on Dillworth Road for 3km, then turn right onto Carter Road. The C.A. is well-signed. _________________________________________________________________ Windows Live: Make it easier for your friends to see what you’re up to on Facebook. http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9691816_______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
