Hey Ontbirders, This morning at 10:50 a.m. I spotted a Black Vulture circling over the Bird Studies Canada parking lot in Port Rowan. The bird was quite high and was with a Turkey Vulture, which made for a nice comparison between these two species. The bird was viewed for approximately 10 minutes by myself, Hazel Wheeler, Jon McCracken, George Finney and Kathy Jones before it headed east along the lakeshore.
BSC's office is located at the western end of Port Rowan along Front Street. To reach Port Rowan, you can take highway 59 south and turn east on Front Street. BSC's office is a few hundred meters from highway 59, on the south side of Front Street. Good Birding.
