I didn't realize there were 5 lagoons at Blenheim. I guess I should mention
that I only looked at the two ponds nearest the building, and that all the
shorebirds were on the first pond.

Yesterday Joy Yang and I observed a family group of 4 Sandhill Cranes (2
adults, 2 nearly full grown young) in a farmer's field a few kilometres west of
Lee Brown's Waterfowl Sanctuary.

At Blenheim sewage lagoons, shorebirds present were approximately 170 killdeer,
41 Least Sandpipers, 8 Lesser Yellowlegs and a Spotted Sandpiper.

This morning at Rondeau Provincial Park we had 4 Yellow-billed Cuckoos (all
vocalizing; 1 seen) and we heard a Black-billed Cuckoo.
