Janice Melendez and I made an impromptu run today for the Scissor-tailed
Flycatcher.

After about an hour and a half of unsuccessful waiting, we finally sighted
the bird on the wires around 11:30.

It was located on the south side of Concession Road 11 about half way
between Sideroad 21-22 and the Monticello Wetlands sign.

When we left, it had worked its way south to perch on top of an apple tree
and then disappear behind it.

Directions (from Lev Frid's post):

Luther Marsh/Lake is located north of Rd 109 approx. half way between Arthur
and Orangeville.

>From Rd 109 go north on Sideroad 24-25. Turn left (west) onto Concession
8-9.

Turn right (north) where this Concession ends at Sideroad 21-22 and turn
left (west) on Concession Rd. 11, which is past the Luther Marsh
Conservation Area entrance.
