>From Aug.23 to Sep.7, including Jean Iron's report of Sep.7, 244
migrating raptors have been counted at Cranberry Marsh RW in southwest
Whitby.
I am grateful to over 20 observers who have done a superb job at our
"rapport-platform".
Please see Jean's report to appreciate the many non-raptor species and
"local" raptors seen in the immediate vicinity.

The 244 include--- TURKEY VULTURE-6, OSPREY-49, BALD EAGLE-9, NORTHERN
HARRIER-10, SHARP-SHINNED HAWK-68, COOPER'S HAWK-10,
RED-TAILED HAWK-1, BROAD-WINGED HAWK-36, AMERICAN KESTREL-37,
MERLIN-6, PEREGRINE FALCON-4, UNIDENTIFIED RAPTORS-8.

Along Victoria St. 1 block east of Lakeridge turn south down Hall's
Rd. toward the lakefront, parking in the second roadside parking area;
walk east to the platform.
