While cycling through the Earl Rowe Park today I came across 5 Snow Geese,
sitting on the shoreline in the reservoir. There were three adult
white-phase and two dark juveniles.

To reach Earle Rowe Park from Hwy 400 take the Cookstown cutoff for hwy 89
and head west. Follow Hwy 89 through Alliston. It jogs left (south) at
King St. and turns West again one block south. Follow the hwy out of town
going west and take the first right following the Provincial Park signs.
The main entrance to the park is at the top of the next hill, Turn left and
go up the hill to the main gate. There is a parking area to the right.
Park here and then follow the roadway down the hill to the dam. The
reservoir is to the left. The Snow Geese where on the shore line on the
beach near the two storage sheds.
