Greetings Ontbirders, My father Don and I found 1 (maybe 2) adult Little Gulls on the north side of Gull Island today at Presqu'ile. The bird(s) was/were in with Bonaparte's Gulls.
10 species of emberizids including 1 Fox Sparrow, 1 Field Sparrow, 2-3 Lapland Longspurs and 25-30 Snow Buntings were also seen on the island. Gull Island can be accessed with hip waders or tall rubber boots (in calm conditions) Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Presqu'ile is well signed south of 401 exit 509.
