We saw a Northern Shrike on March Valley Road in Ottawa this afternoon. It in the trees east of Klondike on the south side of March Valley Road. It hovered several times over the field; a picture is shown at the link. Exactly a year ago today we saw a Northern Shrike on the dike at Shirley's Bay not far from March Valley Road.
