Hello everyone, While out scouting the shoreline in Barrie for the upcoming CBC I was surprised to come across a group of approx 50 Bohemian Waxwings. They were feeding on the berries at The Rotary Islands near The South Shore Center. The were last seen flying west along the shoreline.
Directions: As if coming from Toronto - Exit off Hwy 400 on Essa Rd, turn right on Essa and follow until merge with Tiffin ST continue to Lakeshore Dr, turn right then shortly after turn left at The South Shore Center and park. Rotary Islands are just down from there along the waterfront.
