I relocated the Wood Thrush at Lynde Shores Conservation Area in Whitby at 1:30 p.m. today Dec 21st. It was along the west side of the woodlot near the wire fence. When I saw it, it was foraging on the ground a bit east of the fence, near a mixed flock of robins, red-winged blackbirds and starlings.
If coming from the west, Lynde Shores can be reached by exiting 401 at Salem Rd. and then going south to Victoria/Bayly and then east past Hall's Rd to the next parking lot on the right side of the road. Park here and follow the private road to the trail into the woods due south of the parking lot. If coming from the east, exit 401 at Brock St., then south to Victoria/Bayly then east to Lynde Shores.
