Was surprised by a Pileated Woodpecker (sex uncertain) mid-morning on January
12th, 2011, in Oak Ridges Ontario in a tiny wood lot surrounded by new home
cconstruction on all sides (Coons Road and Humberland Drive). I have only come
across one of these guys twice before but never in such a populated area!
