BODY { font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12px; }The
Detroit River at Alexander Park in Windsor was almost ice-free today
(Feb. 13th) at 1 pm. The highlight was a Horned Grebe, swimming
less than 10 m from the breakwall. There were also Redheads,
Canvasbacks, Greater Scaups, Mallards, Common Goldeneyes, and
Red-breasted Mergansers along the river between roughly Ford Avenue
and Strabane Avenue.
Alexander Park is located at the end of George Avenue at Riverside
Drive in Windsor.
