Hey Birders,

Mike and I ventured down to Brantford to check out the Gray Partridge. While
driving along Robinson Road, just past Potruff we spotted the covey of 15 Gray
Partridge, hunkered down in the fence row. They were pretty easy to see. Nice
to see after a few years of absence.

Not too much else, Mike had 2 Northern Shrikes and the Red-shouldered Hawk in
Hawkesville. The American Wigeon and Gadwall have been seen within the last two
weeks at Conestoga Dam, but were not present this afternoon.

Directions: take hwy. 24 south from the 403 to Robinson Road. Turn left (east),
go about 1-2 km. At Pottruff (or whatever road it is) start looking on the
south side of the road. The birds were in the hedge row, keep an eye out for
clumps of dirt.

Good Birding,
