Hi birders, Just an update that the Varied Thrush is still visiting the feeders at Elmer & Bev Ewert's property. Many other normal feeder birds are there as well, including Pileated and Red-bellied Woodpeckers. Nearly 100 Wild Turkeys were in the corn fields between the Ewert's house and the Erbsville & Wilmot Road intersection. The Ewert's were very kind hosts offering a place to sit while waiting for the Thrush and a dog to play with after the bird had left!
Other birds of note: 1 Killdeer (flying near Erbsville & Rd Laurelwood) 1 Turkey Vulture and 3 Common Grackles (Conservation Dr & Erbsville Rd) several Red-winged Blackbirds throughout ~25 Horned Larks along Conservation Drive just East of Erbsville Rd. 1 male Hooded Merganser at Laurel Creek reservoir 2 male Common Mergansers flying near Wilmot Road.
