Two pair of Piping Plovers are nesting at the north end of the beach. Four chicks were hatched two days ago and are actively foraging along the beach with their parents. Volunteers are monitoring the birds.
Sauble Beach is on Lake Huron at the south end of the Bruce Peninsula.
