Late yesterday afternoon we saw a juvenile red knot on the beach near
Erieau. It would not be visible from Erieau unless it moved from the
bay side.
We were on our boat and along with the red knot we saw
juvenile bald eagle, gree backed heron, juv black crowned night heron,
ruddy turnstones, least sand pipers, spotted sand pipers, king
fishers, sora assorted gulls and about 2,000 cormorants.
