Ontbirders: Five hardy Hamilton winter listers are viewing the Northern Parula found last week at Bronte Bluffs Park. This colourful bird is active and chipping regularly. Apologies for the late posting, Yesterday, about 11.15 am, our Larks' birding group spotted a female Northern Parula at Bronte Bluffs, foraging in sumac bushes at the top of the cliff behind Sovereign House. This may have been a juvenile, various field guides showing the bird differently. Take Lakeshore Rd. towards Bronte harbour and turn onto West River Rd. which is immediately west of the bridge. Follow to the top of the hill, there is a parking lot on your left. This is where we saw this pretty little warbler.
