This is my first post to OntBirds and I hope to find many more rarities to share with the birding community.
At 12 noon today, January 3, 2012, Leonard Manning and myself observed 8 Tundra swans at the west end of Fanshawe Lake about 500m from the dam. The swans were in the company of mallards and Canada geese and were easily observable from the road that passes over the dam. Diagnostic photographs were taken. Thank you, Krista Mandula _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
