Greetings: I stopped at the viewing station outside the Constructed Wetland on
Saturday morning.
Although I have had my permit since early January, access is not permitted
until April 1.
I could clearly hear the "kidick, kidick, kidick" of the Virginia Rail. No, I
could not see the little
bird but there was no mistaking the call. I will enter the wetland in two
weeks to see what else I can hear
or see.

Directions: Exit 509 eastbound off the 401 to Highway 30 south. Travel 7.2
kilometres
right through Brighton. The wetland will appear on the south-side of a curve on
Highway 64 as you leave Brighton.
