Monday, Apr.9 was a very windy day. Birds in Thickson Woods in south
Whitby were somewhat limited, but I was happy to see 2 Eastern
Kingbirds, along with one singing Yellow-rumped Warbler and both
Golden-crowned and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. Other birds were Turkey
Vultures, Brown-headed Cowbirds, many Dark-eyed Juncos, American
Goldfinches, Northern Flicker and 3 Brown Creepers.
Park on Thickson Rd., somewhat north of the lakefront.
