Hi Ontbirders...

This morning about 7:30 am, there was a single Barnacle Goose among a
flock of about 100 Canada Geese in the middle of Lake Scugog about
halfway between Scugog Point on the Southeast and Washburns Island on
the Northeast. It appears like the flock is transient i.e. the local
Canada Geese are all settled in for the season on lakeside marshes. It
is still there at 8am but who knows for how long. Good birding,
Bruce

Directions: Scugog Point is off Durham 57 on the shores of Lake
Scugog and Washburns Island is in City of Kawartha Lakes on Lake
Scugog
