Between 7:30 and 10:30 am this morning - in sunny cool weather I saw a moulting Summer Tanager male land briefly in tall trees east of the "dogwoods" and a Mourning Warbler along the east fence line at the houses. Also present were 7 other species of warbler including many Blackpolls- most numerous were Parulas, mostly females. A Gnatcathcher pair is building a nest south of the Cumberland House.
