On Saturday June 2 I observed a pair of Sandhill Cranes with one young at the 
Paris Cranberry Bog, also known at Grass Lake. There was a pair with young at 
the same location last year.

The visibility of this species is increasing each year in North Dumfries 
Township, Region of Waterloo. There have been nests in the Grass Lake-Elliott's 
Lake area for over a decade now, with 1 or 2 young produced each year.

The Paris Cranberry Bog is found in North Dumfries Township, south of 
Cambridge. This can be found at:
