Although these species have been seen at this location before, firsts for the month of December for Ross Pond north of Belleville were:
BALD EAGLE (1 adult male and 1 juvenile) present for 3 days Dec 19, 20 21 until the water closed over the next night. NORTHERN SHRIKE RED BELLIED WOODPECKER - the latter a weekly visitor to feeders. Ross Pond is on Highwat 62 about 10 miles north of Highway 62.
