Ontbirders,

I found a healthy, vigorous Eastern Phoebe along the Thames River in Ingersoll
today. The bird was flycatching near a warm-water outlet about 100m west of the
Lawson Park entrance, in the town of Ingersoll. Look for the flock of
hottubbing Mallards that spend the winter around the water outlet and listen
for the birds chip note.

This is the 1st January record of Phoebe for Oxford Co.

>From Charles Street West, turn right [north] at Wonham Street, cross the
>tracks and park beside the mini-golf and follow the trail west along the river.

Cheers,
