Hi folks:
 1) The Western Grebe yesterday & today was still at the WEST end of the 
Colonel Sam (Kipling) Spit.

2) The female Snowy Owl was on the ice and on the boat board walk/post ( when a 
dog ran onto the ice, the Owl 'flew' a short distance to the boat board 
walk/post}.    See the Video at the YouTube link...

    The Harlequin Duck is 200 m east of the last parking in the bay, usually 
with Buffleheads & Godeneyes.

Directions to Colonel Sam Smith Spit {{ AKA Kipling spit) 
Drive south on Kipling Ave. at Lakeshore Blvd. in Etobicoke, go past Father 
redmod High Scool, park closest to the lake.
Walk toward the lake 400 m SW for the Snowy Owl  and Western Grebe. The Grebe 
is in the open water.
